Daniel Zuckerman is Partner & Chief Executive Officer of Zuckerman Investment Group, an award-winning wealth management firm that specializes in building relationships with multi-generational families, business owners, and young professionals.

He is responsible for setting the firm’s strategic direction and ensuring the firm’s unique and proven approach to financial counseling and asset management is exemplified by the firm’s culture and strengthened by the firm’s strategic direction. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, which is responsible for making all investment and portfolio management decisions, and leads the firm’s client service department.

Daniel co-founded the firm with his father, Sherwin Zuckerman, back in 2005. They grew the firm based on long-term relationships and a strong commitment to investment excellence, while advising clients and their families.

Daniel now leads the firm with a long history of experience providing him with the ability to have real conversations that connects families across generations. He shares his extensive wealth management knowledge to advise and support families throughout the various stages of life.

Daniel received the Five Star Wealth Manager Award, administered by Five Star Professional, in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023. Under Daniel’s leadership, Zuckerman Investment Group has been recognized by InvestmentNews Best Places to Work for Financial Advisers in 2021 and 2022, and Financial Advisors Magazine.

Daniel received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Daniel is a CFA® charter holder and a member of Young Presidents’ Organization. In addition, he serves on the AJC Chicago Board and on the Advisory Committee for Invest for Kids.
