ZIG Welcomes a New Wealth Advisor, Dana R. Cahan, CPWA®

Zuckerman Investment Group, an independent registered investment advisor located in Chicago, IL, announces the growth of its wealth advisory team with the recent hiring of Dana R. Cahan, CPWA®.
Over the course of her 20 years in the wealth management and family office space, Dana has developed a passion for helping families across multiple generations and a strong skill set of investment, tax and estate planning tactics.
In this new role, Dana will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of their wealth planning and financial needs. She will work in close collaboration with her client’s attorneys, accountants and other professional advisors to ensure holistic planning.

Prior to joining Zuckerman Investment Group, Dana worked as a Consultant at Altair Advisers, providing wealth planning services to high and ultra-high net worth families and individuals, as well as working for a commercial real estate family office overseeing all estate planning, tax and investment decisions.

Dana lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband and three children. She enjoys traveling, reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family and black lab.
Dana received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Dana obtained her Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation in 2020.
